Kielder Adventure Sports
I go on holiday once a year or so to a fantastic centre in Kielder,
Northumberland that specialises in getting disabled people with care needs
doing adventure sports. I'm a wheelchair user with 24 hour care needs and
I'm amazed at the things they help me to do. The centre is the Calvert Trust, Kielder and
I've put up this page of photos to show what can be done if the will is
there.
I am also fundraising: I did the Great North Run in
September 2005, in aid of the Trust, to hopefully enable more disabled
people to take part in the fantastic experiences on offer at the Calvert
Trust. See more info on my run at my homepage, then please sponsor me retrospectively!
I've been selective about the pictures I have used as I've had
complaints in the past when I have put up pictures of people without
permission. If you want me to remove any pictures please just email me - also email if you
want copies of photographs I haven't included here.
