Youngsters give Doug a little bit of help

(1407038)"CHILDREN from St James' Primary School in Wetherby put their imaginations to the test when they were set the unusual challenge of fitting as many items as they could into a camera film canister.
The pupils raised £400 in sponsorship money by filling their containers with beads, feathers, staples and even gravel. One ambitious pupil squeezed 150 items into his canister, and another filled his with nearly 100.
The money raised was given to Doug Paulley, who volunteers at the school in the IT suite, to go towards a new wheelchair.
Headmaster Duncan Walsh said: "The children have responded superbly. Doug is very popular within the school and teh children have reacted in kind. They thoroughly enjoyed completing the challenge."
